So, I had my first class this past Saturday at the CEPA Gallery and I loved it! Most of what Alison went over I already knew (Yay me!) but I also learned a lot. I spent the Easter weekend out at the Genesee County Airport in Batavia and in between reinstalling the interior into the Piper Cherokee, I practiced what I had learned at the class. Learning how to properly meter for a shot was HUGE for me!
This is one of the shots I took Easter Sunday of Mark’s son, Luke. Such a handsome guy who allowed me to practice on him. 🙂 Focal length 82mm, f/13, 1/1600. I also used spot metering. There is zero editing on this shot.
Thanks Luke for being such a willing and great model! Can’t wait to see what next week’s class holds.
See you on the other side of the lens.
