My CEPA class was outside on the streets of Buffalo this past Saturday working on technique. On our way back into the building on Main Street, I stopped to take this shot of the building itself. I love the architecture that our city has to offer and this is such an intricate example of the craftsmanship that seems to be a forgotten art.
This is the Main Street entrance of the CEPA Gallery building. Focal length 32mm, f/16, 1/50. I did a little post editing to highlight the carvings.
This is the Washington Street entrance of the CEPA Gallery building. Focal length 18mm, f/3.5, 1/640.
Though I’ve always appreciated architecture, I think I just found a new love for learning how to display it’s unique beauty.
See you on the other side of the lens.
