Father’s Day morning was spent out at the airport at a special fly-in breakfast, though we didn’t have to fly in as that is where our plane is kept. What a wonderful sight it was to see the thousands of people visiting the airport and all the pilots and airplanes that were flown in for the occasion! Mark took our airplane over to let the little kids, (and not so little kids) take a tour of a real live airplane! The pure wonderment on these little, (and not so little) faces was an absolutely fantastic sight to behold!
Of course I had to bring my camera with me to the airport. I wasn’t going to miss out on this incredible opportunity to capture such an event. Mark took the time to show the kids all the controls and even let them wear his headphones and listen to the cockpit radio so they could hear pilots talking to the tower.
Below are a few images I captured that show the pure wonderment these kids had that day.
Who knows, maybe this is the new wave of aviators. Fly on kids!
See you on the other side of the lens.
